The Bonnie Bean

I was a little sceptical at first of this place as it seemed like it would be a normal “caff” and set my expectations of the coffee low envisioning a burning hot bitter brew. I was surprised to see the girl steaming the milk and checking the temp with her hand, a good sign. The coffee was tasty and just the right drinking temperature. The only drawback was the staff were not immediately knowledgeable on what was dairy free / vegan and were asking each other. They were quite clued up and told me where the gluten free stuff was. Only bit of feedback is to please maybe be a bit more knowledgeable on this as it gives those with allergies more confidence in what they’re getting. Other than that. Great coffee. Good service and bustling. I’ll defo come back :)

I loved this little coffee shop. The owner and his wife were so helpful and friendly. I'm gluten intolerant and struggle to find good places to eat. The bread for my sandwich was amazing didn't fall apart like normal gluten free bread, also the presentation and fillings were fantastic too. I had one of the gluten free cakes (would have been rude not to) and it was so tasty I had to take one home too. I'm also a coffee lover and their coffee was perfect. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back.
