Old Cellar Bled (Lake view)

Very tasty gluten free options. The chefs meatloaf and the venison were very good. Paired with a wine and some deserts, it was delicious and well proportioned. We were very full. The staff were fantastic, English was better than mine, very friendly. The place is cozy and warm (we visited in February). Not the cheapest, but between 4 people- 4 mains, 1 bottle of wine, 2 deserts, 1 coffee, and bread baskets, we spent around 40€ each.

We stopped for lunch but more than hungry we were tired and we weren't able to honor the cuisine as we would have liked. We chose and shared a platter of cold cuts and a plate of trout with potato salad, both good and well prepared. Excellent service, we asked for gluten-free bread even though it wasn't written on the menu and it was available, plus the kitchen modified the preparation of the trout by removing the glutinous part, perhaps it's not the right place for a celiac but if you have a sensitivity gluten free non celiac yes. We will return to taste the meat and wines.
