The manager came over and informed her of the possibility of a reaction to the food and did she understand
My friend said yes, the manager was pleasant

We had a big party, had call ahead seating list, which helped. Great waiter! Gluten-free pasta! As always, salad and bread sticks are a hit. But they didn't have olives... some national shortage.
