When I revealed my gluten-free needs, our server told me that the Zuppa Toscana is gluten-free, and I was pleasantly surprised. Most soups use flour as a thickening agent, so I was very pleased to have an appetizer available for me. My only regret was getting the marinara sauce as it was very acidic with large chunks of tomato. The make your own pasta menu needs to include butter as a choice. I was so tired from 13 hours on the road that I did not think to ask for buttered noodles, but I will do this next time.

Atmosphere was nice but after 3 separate mentions of a gluten allergy we were still served a gluten dish. We questioned the waitress who said that the dish was gluten free even after it was put in front of us and she swore up and down that it was gluten free So we continued on eating. It's not olive gardens fault that we had an allergy, it's not olive gardens fault that even though we were unsure about the safety of the dish we still ate it. But after being questioned 3 times the waitress never double checked so we trusted her. We later called the manager to discuss what had happened and he confirmed it was a gluten dish and he would have never served it to us. If you have any allergy do not go to this resturant. We will deal with the sickness this causes and get over it. We will never return to olive garden
