Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

My husband and I had a lovely dining experience here today. Our Waitress, Laurel, was fantastic. She was very kind and attentive. We enjoyed soup, salad, and an entree. I selected a Gluten Free Pasta with a Golden Mushroom Sauce which was so delicious. My husband had a Chicken dish which was great. Laurel took our orders and served our meals quickly. The salad was very fresh. The soup was very good, and our meals were served hot from the oven. Laurel gave us cheese on our soup and salad. Everything was made to order and nicely plated. We did not have room for dessert. This was our first visit to this location. We will return again.

This review is from a visit a couple of years back and I’m leaving it as a warning for those with Celiac. Because it has been so long I’m not sure if they still offer a gluten free menu at this location, but they have in the past. If you have celiac DO NOT trust them to prepare your food here. I knew it was too good to be true. I had gluten free pasta with sauce and salad (without croutons). While we were eating we overheard the table behind us complaining to the waiter about having olives in their salad. The waiter said he could just pick the olives out for them because it’s a pre-made package mix.....unfortunately at this time I had already eaten salad. Less than 20 mins after we left I was sick. They put croutons in our salad and then picked them out, which led to severe cross contamination. If you have Celiac please proceed with caution!
