Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I'll preface by acknowledging that olive garden isn't really the place for somebody with a gluten allergy, but it's where my friends wanted to go, and there's a gluten free menu, so I at least expected some accommodation. I ordered the house salad with no croutons, which the menu says is available with grilled chicken. I pointed this out to the server, who said they can't put it on the salad, and it would be on the side. Whatever. Everybody else in my group got a side salad with their meal, so it all came out in a big bowl for the table. Why was I charged $9.50 for something that would have come out even if I had ordered nothing? Additionally, that $5 side of grilled chicken was about half of a piece worth of meat. I guess I've learned my lesson to stay home next time my friends are in town.

Very nice lunch. Server was very helpful in making a lunch meal for my gluten free girlfriend. The lunch menu was also not too expensive with a lot of options, will be returning.
