Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

They have a really good gluten free pasta. Unfortunately, they bombed it with an enormous amount of garlic (could have been about a cup). I like garlic, but too much. Called to let them know. Put on hold for ten minutes by reception, so I hung up.

First let me say, the new Olive Garden on 2402 Easton road in Willow Grove, PA is clean, very large and beautiful! On our first visit, my husband ordered the Chicken Scampi and the Bellini Peach iced tea. He enjoyed his entree and salad. No complaints, not even with the Peach Bellini iced tea. It cost $4.25, and it did not include a frozen peach at the bottom, but nonetheless, the sweet, artificial flavored beverage, was tolerable! However, if you have dietary restrictions, and you are also gluten free, this Olive Garden is probably not for you! Only two sauce choices, one with a mystery meat, or a Marinara sauce that is excessively salty, and extremely spicy. Regrettably, my choice was the Marinara! Their one gluten free pasta option was Rotini, which was dry, and definitely a boxed pasta. (See pictures!) They also offered one GF soup, with a mystery meat, or a salad with your entree. Which one should I choose? No debate, the salad was fresh, and the Italian dressing was okay! Of course, NO gluten free desserts either! Disappointing! Shout out to Jack, our waiter.
