Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

We arrived at 1:50pm on Sunday and Hannah the hostess sat us at a dirty table. I had to ask her to clean the table. She didn't apologize. We had to wait for 15 minutes for our waitress, Ceyshona. She brought us our water and disappeared. After a very long time, she returned to take our order. We asked questions concerning the gluten free pasta. She went to ask the manager. We waited a very long time for her to return, and we made our initial order. Then we waitrd a long time for our food to arrive. My daughter was concerned about the pasta being gluten free and asked to speak with the manager. Brian finally came out and assured my daughter that it was gluten free. She said that it didn't look like the gluten free pasta served at the Olive Garden in Edwardsville. After consuming our pasta, we ordered a second pasta as it was the never ending pasta special. We again waited for a very long time for the pasta to arrive. My son's pasta was incorrect, but he ate it anyway, and my pasta had very little sauce on top because they had run out according to our waitress. We had to wait a very long time to get a salad refill and bread sticks refill. While waiting for our third order of pasta, the man came over to buss our table, and we told him that we were still waiting for our pasta. I inquired about our waitress with the hostess, and she was rudely said that my waitress was coming. We finally got our last pasta, paid our bill and walked out at 4:45pm, 3 hours later. I have lived in Fairview Heights since 2001 and always enjoyed eating at Olive Garden in Fairview Heights. My daughter lives near Edwardsville and told us what a wonderful experience she had eating there last Sunday. Going forward, we will eat at the Edwardsville Olive Garden.

5 Stars - Wonderful Gluten-Friendly Experience! I visited Olive Garden around 4 PM for an early dinner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. There was no wait, and I was warmly greeted and seated right away. Patty, my waitress, was attentive and friendly, immediately bringing water to my table. I try to avoid gluten and count calories, so I was thrilled to see the gluten-friendly options on the menu. I ordered the gluten-free rotini pasta with marinara sauce, paired with two orders of gluten-free grilled chicken, and the classic salad with no croutons. Everything tasted delicious, and when my meal arrived, Patty noticed that the chicken portion seemed small. Without hesitation, she brought me additional grilled chicken, ensuring I had a satisfying meal. The food was wonderful, and the customer service was even better. Olive Garden truly made it easy for me to enjoy a tasty, gluten-free meal. I will definitely be back!
