Olive Gourmet

Located in Parkwest on Northern Avenue. Regional Extra Virgin Olive Oils, Flavored Infused Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars and every one of them with a different flavor profile! There are little tasting cups so that you can sample any one of them before purchasing. Every dispenser has a card on it that features the flavor profile and a list of other vinegars/Olive oils that it can be paired with. After choosing which bottle size you would like, they will dispense it ,cork it and seal it for you. The appearance of the bottles are definitely gift worthy and I have to say that they look great displayed in my kitchen. I have also seen Truffle flavored oil and Walnut oil. Other great products offered: variety of jarred olives , Olive Tapenade, Pesto made with olive oil (Not soy oil!), mustards, Lots of interesting jam flavor combinations...such as "Maple, Bacon, Onion" and got to say that this one is amazing on a homemade burger! There are a variety of Pastas that look more "rustic and more substantial than store bought pastas... Gluten free pastas are also availabe. Products such as olive based facial cleansers, lotions, lip balms are displayed when you walk in. If you are buying a gift for someone and want to make your gift look really special, there are a lot of beautiful cloth gift bags next to the counter to choose from. Owners are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The Olive Gourmet is definitely a must stop-in while you are at Parkwest or definitely worth taking the trip there.
