I'd heard of Oliver's being a good option to get a quick gluten free meal on the road. My husband is coeliac and we'd been to a few different locations around NSW. We won't be returning to the Coffs Harbour one. When ordering I asked the manager who was serving me if different parts of our order were GF. I got a burger meal (non-GF burger) and asked if the green beans side was GF so I could share them with my husband because on the menu the photo showed the beans side in a little cup on its own. She said "...they're beans. They're vegetables." I said I know this but I was asking about cross contamination and she said they're not gluten contaminated, so I finished my order and we sat to wait. There was barely anyone there and the wait time was on the longer side. Our meal came and the green beans were served in the same box as my burger...which had gluten. After the attitude I received from the manager about asking whether beans were GF, I was flabbergasted to see them served next to regular bread and not in a separate cup as advertised, especially after saying I wanted to share them with my coeliac husband. Won't be returning as other locations were much better with nicer staff.
