Oliver's on the Cape Fear

We were thankful to be able to grab seats at the bar during a very busy Monday lunch service as the bar was first come first serve and some folks were just leaving as we got in. We had a delicious gluten free and celiac safe lunch as we made our way north. Ben was our bartender and server. He was friendly and especially knowledgeable about the gluten free options. We got the shrimp and grits and he suggested we get the house special, the lobster bisque, which we did. The bisque was delicious with developed lobster flavor, hints of sherry, and huge chunks of lobster! Ben’s service was excellent! He is well liked and has number of regulars which also stopped in for lunch! I highly recommend you stop by, especially if you’re gluten free and looking for some delicious lobster bisque and shrimp and grits!

Jackie our server was amazing! She gave great options for gluten free selection and the maple pecan salmon was so delicious! Thank you Jackie for making our experience wonderful! We will definitely come back.

Super accommodating. My wife has celiac disease and they went above and beyond to help. 100% would recommend
