I’m coeliac and they gave me farrow! Waited 1 hour for any food at all (appetizers) and then a long time between courses. >3 hours total. Food small portions & very very overpriced. Too easy to use the incorrect side of v sharp knife- cut finger. Many rats around their chicken coup right outside the window we ate at (they weren’t bothered). I never got a reply from them on my email with allergy concerns after feeling unwell. I would not recommend.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is good and they were easily able to accommodate multiple dietary restrictions (gluten free, no shellfish) in our party. The staff presented each course well and made sure those who had allergies knew their items were in fact safe for them. However, calling the garden seating “heated for your comfort” is far from reality and severely damped our experience l. We left with near frostbite on our feet. Although I’m sure it is fine most of the year, if there are not more heaters and blankets, it feels wrong to seat people in this enclosed garden in the winter, especially when the temperature is below freezing.
