Excellent, even gluten-free. Friendly staff.

We had lunch here after a nice city walk in Volterra. We sat nicely in the shade against the wall and were served very warmly and always immediately. We ate both gluten-free and normal pasta with carbonara and pasta with fish and vegetables and truffle tagliatelle, everything was very tasty, but the carbonara and tagliatelle with fish were very salty. But we would like to come back

Ombra della Sera, located in the heart of Volterra, is a restaurant that stands out for the excellence of its cuisine and attention to the customer. The first gluten-free truffle tagliatelle was extraordinary, with a perfect balance of flavours. The care and professionalism of the staff, particularly towards my partner, who has celiac disease and is pregnant, was commendable, guaranteeing a safe and delicious meal. My Florentine steak was cooked to perfection, retaining all its succulence and flavour. The staff, competent and friendly, contributed to making the experience even more pleasant. A special mention goes to Margherita for the availability and professionalism demonstrated. The bill was absolutely in line with the quality of the products and service offered. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in Volterra and wants to have a high-level dining experience.
