On Orange

This place used to be incredible. However, in the past few months, they’ve made a truly bizarre choice to change their potato side. In the before times, you ordered potatoes and received plain but perfectly serviceable roasted potato cubes. They were great with the addition of the carrot hot sauce. This plain yet clean and tasty side has been replaced by something truly alien to breakfast cuisine. On Orange has made the choice to turn their potato sides into scalloped potatoes. While, I may love scalloped potatoes with an Easter Ham, they’re truly strange when sitting next to eggs or inside the Peasant Omelet. Not to mention, these scalloped potatoes are no longer gluten free and they’re not even an interesting or good twist on scalloped potatoes. This is a travesty and Samwise would not approve.

My daughter had the Indian Omelet with gluten free toast. (delicious) and really good coffee. Staff was great and very friendly. Will be back when I get into the city.

Beautiful little eatery, old and cozy with a touch of eclectic art. Friendly atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. The food was beyond amazing. I had the Indian Omelet, I loved it. I love spicy food and that absolutely hit the spot. I also enjoyed the cooked cherry tomatoes that can with it. The fried potatoes were perfect as well. Such a great combination of tastes. The baked oatmeal was a fun side. Also they serve Gluten free items as well. Again perfect taste. Parking is easy, parking garage is caddy corner from the restaurant and there is on street parking. It's close to everything in downtown Lancaster. I will definitely eat there again❤️❤️
