Everyone had a great meal. Burgers and crab legs. I had a conversation while ordering about being gluten free, having cross contamination not be a game changer in the same oil, and even switching to a gluten free bun, but got fried seafood while it wasn't clear on the menu that the fish was fried.
Seems like it would have been in the waitresses best interest if she didn't know the fish was fried to express that to the kitchen it was a GF order. She was very personable, and seemed like she'd been there for a while, so I was disappointed i couldn't eat being gluten free. Got a Crouton-Free salad, gluten-free bun on her suggestion with fried *breaded* mahi. Super bummer. And the pieces I pulled breading off were very dry. Great for leftovers for my kid. She did ask if she could replace it, but having a toddler and other kids, we couldn't wait for another meal to be cooked.
Give it a try, make sure if you want anything altered you have time to replace it bc it may not be cooked to your liking. (We were there at 5, so it wasn't busy)
And I'm local so I'm very accommodating being a waitress in this county for many years...
