Absolutely best in class. We love their restaurant Indigo, which is entirely gluten free. Staff are brilliant!

This is a wonderful hotel. Aesthetically, it has an old beautiful charm. The rooms give it the boutique feel. Whenever we had an issue, the staff was professional and quick to assist to make things right. The restaurant is very good and perfect for those with gluten and dairy allergies. The only issue I have is that there is no place to sit and have a drink in the evening before dinner. The library is designated for hotel guests but was reserved every night. The hotel bar needs a reservation because it gets busy. So if you want to leave your room and have a drink before dinning at indigo there is no where to get a drink. This is the first hotel I’ve been to without an area for hotel guests to be able to enjoy a drink outside of their room in the evening. We managed to get a staff member to agree to let us sit at a table for 40 minutes before our dinner reservation one night. We wanted to enjoy the hotel offerings but this was an issue we didn’t get a solution for. Overall, I would stay here again. The staff was great, especially housekeeping, and the hotel and restaurant were perfect in a great location. Had it not been for the staff accommodating, we probably wouldn’t return. Thank you for taking care of us! Much appreciated!

Haven't stayed here but have eaten in the restaurant many times and have had cocktails in the bar more times than I can remember. It's a lovely building, immaculate and pretty. The restaurant is great, they don't make a big deal of it but it's gluten and lactose free, and honestly, it's easy to forget that sometimes, the food overall is fantastic. The bar is great fun, the staff are knowledgeable and the cocktails are always good. They do the classics too. Recently went along to a fizz and movie event, which, while being fun, did have it's flaws. Firstly, in my opinion the price point is too high for what you get. You get a 3 course meal, a glass of fizz, and a movie, but it's a very limited set menu. Plus there was a hefty booking fee charged by the third party website. We were initially mistakenly given the a la carte menu to peruse, too, which made things worse. At the price though I expected more food options or more fizz, or both. Overall it was a fun experience though.
