Great food with gluten free/ coeliac options!

Food was tasty but could I recommend adequate staff education on catering to GF and coeliac? Yesterday we had mixed information regarding our coeliac orders. I understand there is always a risk dining out and account for this by talking to the staff about what I'm ordering. However yesterday the counter waitstaff said the chips were GF. We then had another wait person come to our table 20mins later to explain the chips were not GF and neither was the fried chicken 'safe'. Frustrating. There was also strong hesitation and a no to offer even a side salad instead of chips, making it a very expensive $25 burger. The food was delicious, just expensive for value received and if we return, we're now better educated on how to approach your menu however back and forth like that shouldn't have to happen.
