UPDATE YOUR MENU TO ACCURATELY REFLECT ALLERGENS If an item is marked GF on your menu (not GFO) it should not contain gluten. I inquired about the flavor of the mole enchiladas marked as gf on the menu. The cashier graciously offered to taste the sauce which was much appreciated. When I went to order it, I confirmed it was gf. Cashier told me the mole sauce I just tasted was recently changed to contain gluten. I’m pretty ticked off the menu was not updated. This is not the cashier's fault, but management should take this more seriously. Very frustrating and not the first time I've had a gluten issue here. On 2 prior occasions I ordered gf corn tortillas with the huevos and was given flour. Laxness around allergens has steered me away from future visits.

I used to love the gluten free (gf) Loco Moco! My husband and I got married on big island & I could only find gluten free loco moco @ one amazing vegan restaurant in Kona. When we got back to colorado, it didn’t take long for us to get pregnant and when we did, our OBGYN was just a short walk from One Fold on 18th. We had a special tradition of going out for brunch after each OBGYN appointment during my pregnancy. I would ALWAYS order the gf loco moco. In fact, it was one of the first dishes I ate after my son’s birth. Today, we walked here after our son’s 4 month pediatrician appointment for a valentines week brunch. I was absolutely devastated to learn they changed the recipe for their loco moco because they were getting complaints about the consistency of the gravy. Apparently it is no longer gluten free and they have no intentions of ever making it gluten free again :-( Overall, it’s a popular restaurant. The oat milk lattes and fresh squeezed orange juice are great. The service is great. The food is okay… but no dish other than the gluten free loco moco would have me return for a $50 breakfast. I hope the head chef considers making the Loco Moco gluten free again!

I use to really love this spot... My wife, and I would eat here multiple times a month, but recently they changed the recipe of our favorite gluten free dish to include gluten, because some complained about the texture. Not liking the texture is one thing, but not being able to order your favorite dish on the menu at all is something much worse. Seems like a move to become less gluten friendly. Sad to see it go this way
