We just got back from a delightful lunch and had to jump into a review! We’re staying at a local Air B&B and Brew Haus was in walking distance. It’s a snowy Saturday in March, so the restaurant was quiet. The hostess/bartender, Erin, warmly greeted us, and told us we could sit anywhere we wanted. We had the dining room to ourselves and chose one of the round tables in the corner. The outside of the building in no way prepares you for the rustic, but charming atmosphere inside. The fireplace was going, there are what appear to be hand painted murals on the wall and we were given the choice of sports events to watch on the large tv above the fireplace. There is an extensive draft beverage menu that offers flights, which my group enthusiastically chose from with some guidance and recommendations from Erin. No one was disappointed. Next came appetizers. We started with the Haus salsa (so good we got some to take back with us) and the soft pretzels (also good). For lunch we went with burgers, the grilled chicken (exceptional), pulled pork (one of the best I’ve had) with Mac and Cheese, and the shaved steak (scrumptious ). Between the service and the food and drinks, we had a truly enjoyable meal. Don’t miss this gem if you’re in the area! A bonus is that one of our group has Celiac’s and is gluten free. Not only was Erin knowledgeable about gf, but many of the menu items were gluten free as well!
