I really enjoy going to the Opera Café and have only had positive experiences. It offers the typical Aiola standard: everything stylish, with good service and excellent food. We particularly enjoy eating the calamari and the antipasti platter – both absolute highlights on the menu. It would be a small wish if there were more gluten-free options in the cake display case, but in general we are always very satisfied. Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Opera Café is always a good choice. We've celebrated here several times, including our engagement party with family and friends, and it's always been a great experience. I will definitely come many more times and can only recommend the opera café!

At lunch we pointed out the severe gluten intolerance several times and asked that every dish that was ordered for me be taken into account and asked again whether it was gluten-free. However, I still have severe gluten poisoning. Celiac disease is not a trend and I think it's terrible that such an established restaurant doesn't pay attention and doesn't take these things into account. (The allergens aren't even mentioned on the menu, and they bring out the specially ordered gluten-free bread on the same plate as regular bread) I don't know exactly what part of the food was contaminated, but we won't be going there again and that's important It is for all people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance to know that this place is not safe. Too bad!
