I'm embarrassed to say it was the first time visiting in my 20+ years living in downtown JC. Even worse, I've been to every other taco place and this was my last to visit. If you're getting takeout, I'd recommend another taco spot but if you're eating in-person definitely visit. We had the shrimp ceviche and Carne tacos (5 minis w/ rice & beans for $17, super economical) for food. For drinks, we enjoyed 'The Neil' margarita (w/ one Marlee thrown in) and bubbles option. The waitors were extremely helpful and familiar with the menu. Celiac Annie felt at home and was able to partake in all the food options mentioned. I cannot wait to come back. Total package... Presentation, atmosphere food, and drinks...

Bottom line: who knew you could make pricey Mexican food? Kidding, I knew. But I think its worth it. Gluten line: very accommodating, including gluten free tortillas and separate frier. And plus, margaritas are naturally gluten free. Long line: I'm a big spicy food guy. I started with a spicy margarita which had a pleasant little kick to it. Nothing crazy. Their drink menu is on par innovation wise with the current scheme in JC and across the water. Our ceviche starter tasted fresh and well seasoned. The big thing for me was the bone marrow tacos. Freaking DELICIOUS. Chunky, likely torched (I'm guessing) giving it a beautiful slightly crispy exterior and juicy goodness inside. Lighting was tought without my good camera so forgive the pictures. The chicken tacos my friend got were also fire. Overall I enjoyed the experience and food, just not sure I'd pay the price often. A couple margaritas add up quick!
