Origin Gluten-Free Bakery & Cafe

Great selection of gluten free breads and baked treats. Also their muffins coffee was pretty good. A must try place for people who have gluten sensitivity.

I was looking forward to visiting this bakery, many people have told us to go visit. The cookies were delicious, but I thought the bread was quite heavy. It is hard to make gluten free bread, but I didn’t think this place was very special. But very, very helpful staff and delicious coffee!

Having been to many gluten free bakeries and cafes in Canada and around the world, I have to say Origin is a disappointment for me personally. The quality of the gluten free items that I was able to try being dairy free was very limiting and did not taste good. The flour mixture used leaves a strange after taste and unfortunately most of the products contain butter or some kind of dairy. It would be nice if there were more dairy free items for me to try but unfortunately that's not the case so I can't speak for all their products but at least the vegan and dairy free items I've had were pretty disappointing for the price. Every time I've gone over the years the service was also not great.
