Original Joe's

Stopped by on our way to Vernon and were served the wrong drinks only to be told they don’t have what we ordered (we ordered Strongbow-were brought Coronas). Then, we waited 40 minutes to be brought the wrong meals. Then, after being told they’d correct it in 7 minutes, we waited another 15 minutes. The fries looked like they’d sat in oil all day, practically black and soaking wet with oil. I ordered a Gluten Free bun and it was obviously old because it fell apart as soon as I picked it up and turned into dust (I have these often-they’re not meant to disintegrate once touched). The side-salad was a few brown-edged pieces of lettuce at the bottom of a tiny bowl with 3 pieces of walnuts. The Manager was nice and offered us a dessert but at that point I was starving, disappointed and not going to ask for a new plate. Not sure what was going on but that was the worst OJ experience we’ve had and won’t be going back there.

They have a great gluten free menu and amazing fried chicken - Elise , our server was super friendly and helpful
