We visited Virginia Beach and reserved Orion's Roof for our wedding anniversary dinner. A great decision! Our server, Sean, was excellent! Great personality, super efficient, professional, attentive, and went beyond the call of duty to find me a gluten free sushi dish as he consulted with the chef about my gluten allergy. My husband's seared scallop dish was not only beautifully presented but delicious! The chef at Orion's Rood is a true artist! We also, and thanks to Sean, had the opportunity to meet the Assistant General Manager, Noel, who very graciously stopped at our table a couple of times to check if we needed/desired anything else. Very attentive! Highly recommend Orion's Roof! Thank you, Sean! We are looking forward to our next visit. Wayne and Maritza B.

Went here for our 22nd wedding anniversary. We are both gluten free. I ordered the GF Swordfish and my wife ordered the GF Fried Rice; both are marked as being gluten free on the menu. Turns out, you have to ask for the fried rice to be prepared gluten free even though it doesn't say so anywhere on the menu. The swordfish came gluten free. Of course we shared our meals with each other.... We spent our 22nd wedding anniversary with horrible stomach cramps, diarrhea, gas pains and other individual ailments. We gave the leftovers to a homeless man at the end of the boardwalk. On the bright side, the view was nice inside the restaurant. Be warned, and make sure to ask if the meal is GF even if it is annotated on the menu.
