Orso's

I got the gluten-free pizza and was very impressed. Fresh ingredients all around. The staff was kind and helpful. I was able to sit on the outdoor patio and enjoy the sun during the afternoon. This is a close walk to everything in Old Town. I want to come back sometime soon for the pasta. This is an old school Chicago tradition and now I realize why it’s been around for years.

Don’t order from Orso’s if you want to actually get what you ordered. I ordered a pizza with shrimp, mushrooms, spinach and olives and got a sausage and mushroom pizza that was so overloaded with cheese that it was soggy in the middle. My wife who is allergic to gluten ordered a gluten free pizza and got a gluten filled pizza (this has happened over several orders). No attention is paid in the kitchen to the details of your order. There are many good restaurants in Chicago; this is not one of them.
