A Memorable Meal at Osteria Risi.Co – Great Food, Atmosphere & Gluten-Free Friendly We recently dined at Osteria Risi.Co in Bergamo with a group of Italian friends and family, and the entire experience was exceptional. The restaurant has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere—perfect for a leisurely dinner filled with conversation and laughter. One of our group was gluten-free, and we were so pleased to find that the menu was accommodating and clearly marked, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the evening without worry. I ordered the Redècc Risotto, made with Trevisan red chicory, Valcalepio wine, gorgonzola cheese, and speck—it was rich, creamy, and beautifully balanced with just the right touch of bitterness from the chicory and depth from the wine. Absolutely delicious. We also shared the Tagliere Risi.Co, a generous and beautifully presented board of local cured meats (including Prosciutto Ruliano aged 24 months), cheeses, homemade onion compote, and honey. It was a real celebration of local flavors, and we ended up sharing a bit of everything among us. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and you could tell the staff genuinely cared about the quality of both the food and the overall experience. It was a highlight of our trip to Bergamo, and I’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended—especially if you’re looking for a place with excellent regional food and gluten-free options!

Delicious and a large selection for gluten-free people, in addition to normal starter bread, they also serve warm gluten-free bread. And the beer is also gluten-free. I recommend baked chicken and traditional millenium.

Excellent value for money, typical dishes with generous but fair portions. Very pleasant experience even for celiacs!
