This is a regular restaurant haunt for my husband and I, but I wanted to highlight that alongside the longstanding menu enjoyed by all of the locals, Osteria del Portico offers a specials menu also providing seasonal fresh produce - my husband and I had the octopus and the scallops as shared starters from this menu. Although not advertised, the restaurant also offers gluten-free pasta as an alternative for all of their pasta dishes. I tried the ragu with gluten-free pasta this time around. Located in a wonderful setting and providing consistent excellent service.

A cosy authentic Italian restaurant hiding in an enclave within a parade of shop fronts. You are immediately met with alfresco Mediterranean tables followed by indoor seating with subtle lighting. The whole ambience exudes Italy such that you can quite easily forget you are in Ealing . The dish I ordered was perfectly cooked and the wine was pleasant. Although I'd walked past many times this visit with friends provided an experience I would return for, from staff to menu offerings. Gluten free options available on request.
