I’ve had the privilege of dining at over 20 Michelin-starred restaurants in my 20 years as a food critic, and I can confidently say Our Harvest held its own among some of the best. Our family visited on two separate evenings, and both times we left feeling impressed by the creative dishes, attentive service, and the team’s genuine effort to accommodate dietary restrictions. First Impressions and Starters Right from the start, Our Harvest set the tone with their Daily Bread: warm sourdough and herb focaccia paired with a luscious apple fig butter and roasted garlic. It was such a satisfying way to kick off our meals, underscoring the care that goes into every component of their menu. The only dish that fell short was the Classic French Onion Soup—it just didn’t have the depth or richness we were hoping for. On the bright side, the small plates more than made up for it. The Roasted Chincoteague Oysters were phenomenal—dripping with bone marrow butter, topped with gremolata, and boasting a wonderful brininess. I also loved the Flash Fried Calamari “NE” Style, thanks to its crisp rice-flour crust and a creamy garlic chili butter sauce that paired beautifully with the fried lemons and banana peppers. Even the Frites managed to stand out, with a dusting of malt powder and a garlicky buttermilk aioli that was dangerously addictive. Standout Dishes A real showstopper was the Thai Braised Shortrib & House Smoked Pork Belly. It combined smoky, tender meat with a sweet and spicy sesame garlic glaze, plus a Thai peanut sauce that perfectly complemented the spiced peanuts and crisp Honeycrisp apple slices. Moving on to the entrées, the Crispy Brussel Leaves were a delight—lightly dressed in a sticky, tangy sauce with a welcome pop of lime. Papa’s Philadelphia hit all the right notes for me too, featuring crispy beef tallow potatoes and an indulgent aged cheddar “cheese whiz.” Both flatbreads we tried were fantastic: the Prosciutto di Parma and Local Arugula Flatbread felt elegant and balanced, while the Devil’s Pie Flatbread was a spicy, savory treat layered with smoked andouille sausage, rotisserie chicken, Castelvetrano olives, and a drizzle of Calabrian chili honey. The Meat Paella was hearty and flavorful, showcasing perfectly cooked pork, aged chorizo, and pulled rotisserie chicken. We paired it with the Grilled Local Broccoli, which was surprisingly memorable—simple but elevated by tonnato mayo and pecorino. As a light, snackable option, the Marinated Olives and Almonds brought a bright Mediterranean flair to our table. Dessert and Drinks To finish, the Homemade Local Apple Pie was comfort-food perfection. Fifer Farms apples, a toffee crumble, apple cinnamon ice cream, and butterscotch caramel—all came together in one nostalgic, delicious dessert. On the beverage side, The Chesterfield cocktail (basil vodka and cucumber juice) was wonderfully refreshing, while the Chocolate Martini really hit the spot for a sweet indulgence. A Stella draft rounded out the heartier dishes quite nicely. Service and Accommodations Perhaps the most impressive element of our visits was the warm, attentive service. The staff went out of their way to address my sister’s gluten and dairy restrictions, making sure she could enjoy thoughtful adaptations of various dishes without losing any flavor. Final Thoughts All in all, Our Harvest offered an inventive menu backed by friendly, top-notch service. It’s clear that the chefs and staff pour their hearts into delivering a memorable experience for every guest. If you’re looking for a restaurant that’s both creative and comforting, you’ll find plenty to love here. I know I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

I did not have a good experience here and was given gluten in which I do have an allergy. I told our waitress from the beginning I had an allergy and asked what things i could eat. The Thai short ribs were labeled gluten free and she told me they were, she also made a note of it on my ticket for the kitchen. From the first bite, I tasted some sort of soy. I stopped eating it, asked our waitress, she went back to the kitchen and confirmed with the head chef, the short ribs had a soy glaze on them. I was so disappointed and now not feeling well. I’m super cautious with my allergy so it’s really disappointing. I would not recommend coming here. Our waitress was super kind and apologetic, the manager comped our one dish, but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that they messed up.
