Not only do you have great food, beer, location, and service, the Chef's are willing to go above and beyond to assist when people have dietary restrictions. It is hard to eat out when on the Low FODMAP diet. In addition to no gluten (chef wasn't aware of this), you can't have onions and garlic (including the powder form. Chef took the time to email me in advance our food options:
I'm the chef over here at Out of Bounds here in Folsom. I would gladly break down our proteins that you're inquiring about.
-Our Mahi is cut and pre-seasoned with a blackening spice, which does contain garlic powder and onion powder.
-Our Chicken is in a marinade that does contain green onions.
-Our Burgers are a short rib, brisket blend of certified beef. They are "Delicious"! We only salt and pepper the burgers before cooking. We have a House Aoili, Red Wine Aoili, Walnut Fig Jam, that has NO garlic/onion that can be substituted. Our fry's only have salt and pepper on them. So these burger plates can be served garlic/onion free.
I believe the best bet is to get one of our Burgers and we can modify it to your liking OR....
You could order:
Chicken Wings (Dry).
Salmon Entrée with Grits as the starch and choice of veggie (Fried Brussels, Asparagus, Broccolini, Sautéed Kale).
Pretzel (No cheese sauce, our béchamel has garlic and onion in it).
Pizza (Any of our pizzas can olive oil and herbs as the sauce, and you could substitute bacon, for the protein).
