Outta the Blue Cafe

Excellent drink (both coffee and cocktail) and food options. The waffle breakfast sandwich is tasty and different from the usual coffee shop options - and there is a nice selection of gluten free pastries. Coffee is always perfectly made and the Mai Tai was authentic to the original recipe for the drink - not overly sweet. I love that you can enjoy a beachy vibe in the middle of Kansas during winter! I also love that they lean into the beachy vibe without appropriating native culture :)

A nifty little coffee shop with a beach-themed twist. It's a relaxing environment with swings, surfboards, palm trees, bamboo-style chairs, and an oversized patio. Nonetheless, the laid back feel extends past the ambiance. Even the staff is chill yet professional and brings a feeling of coziness to the shop. There is even a full bar with a fantastic pina colada. This place even has An excellent place to relax with friends or work in peace. Outta the Blue Cafe has an abundance of gluten-free and vegan sandwiches and other food items too! It might be one of Leawood's best-hidden gems. This place brought me pure happiness, and I'm sure it will do the same for you!
