OvenHead Pizza

Very chill place. Their gluten free pizza is top notch. They take GF allergy very serious. They're not skimpy on the their toppings. Defintely a recommendation for great pizza.

I usually don’t bother to leave anything but good reviews but since this is a local restaurant I feel obligated to save a neighbor some energy so they can make a well-informed choice. By looking at the reviews, we were excited that a better option was just a few minutes down the road. We were disappointed. We ordered a large combo pizza and the crust was cardboard like, reminiscent of gluten-free (not sure if it was- there WAS a GF option on the menu but we didn’t ask for this) and it was so filling as to be bloating- I had only one slice, my husband had only 2.. we were stuffed. Sadly, Dominos even has vastly better crust. The toppings were generous and fresh so that’s a plus, but we all know the crust carries the Vibe. The salad was fresh and we shared it- we were given 1 small container of dressing and needed one more to adequately cover. It gets 4 stars for freshness. The most vexing aspect for me, though was the hip hop music on the TV (sports on the other screen. Turned all the way down- would have been a much better option considering there was a young child (2-3yo) eating with her parents. Most disturbing was the fact that the F Bombs were flying but no one seemed to notice and neither mom, nor dad asked that the channel to be changed!! Maybe it’s just me? A return visit isn’t in the plans and we will fall back to driving 30 minutes for the best pizza we have found outside of NYC: A real Italian pizza oven crust that brings tears to one’s eyes AND for much less cost! We feel like we have been unfaithful and deserving of a wasted $47. Proximity isn’t always the goal.

Really great place. They have cauliflower crust as an option, gluten free crust, several flavors of wings, really great specialty pizza combos, salads, subs, desserts. I got the borracha pizza, my husband got the Carnivora each on cauliflower crust. We shared cheese sticks. All very flavorful and delicious! The borracha has sweet habanero and Chipotle sauce with honey. Great combo. Not unbearably spicy. Gio was very nice, cares a lot about customer service and customer satisfaction! We will definitely come here again. They have a great outside patio area too it'll be great when they start doing live music when it warms up. Decent amount of seating. Plenty of parking.
