Over the Road Cafe, Restaurant & Bar

We go up regularly and my son has very difficult dietary requirements and the menu is varied so well that he is able to order several items. This is rare as he cannot eat gluten, soy, dairy or eggs! The servers are very knowledgeable and/or will speak with the chefs if unsure. My partner and I popped in late last night (8.15pm) and Sarah quickly seated us so we could order our dinner before the kitchen closed. As always dinner was amazing! I always have the chicken quesadillas with the chilli oil! Shout out to Chef Tamara for this flavour bomb! I’m obsessed with this chilli oil! Do yourselves a favour, head down and support this amazing local business… 100% Recommend!

Amazing food. I didn’t have high hopes, just wanted to try something different with my partner for dinner but we loved the food and will return. I have to eat gluten free and I’m very intolerant to it, even if I accidentally only eat a small dose of it and I have had no reactions to my meal tonight! The brisket in both our meals were beautiful. And the gf loaded donut was just an added bonus! Definitely coming here more often.
