The Captain's Table

When we arrived, we were not sure what we would expect. But based on the reviews, we thought we needed to try this place. As we were just passing through, it seemed like an interesting opportunity for us. I wasn’t that hungry and had a very light meal With the sirloin tips. But my wife, she was pretty hungry. She ordered the Bouillabaisse. She usually cannot order this due to it, not being gluten-free. But this was gluten-free so she took the opportunity for a treat. When it arrived at the table after her first bite, she looked at me and she said and I quote: this is ridiculously good! In fact, she said it was the best she’s ever eaten in her entire life, couple out with Tracy, who has been a server at this place for 35 years and we had a winner. Yes, it seems a little old and musty due to the history of the restaurant, but you quickly get used to that too. What an experience for us to have died at this lovely establishment called Owens. My friends and I have been going to Owens' for over the last 10-15 years. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. Excellent gluten free options also.
