The 4 of us made reservations in "the secret room behind the bookcase" for dinner last night. It was fun to have our own space and really helped with the noise level, as one of our party is hearing impaired. We were greeted with a smile by the hostess, Jess who introduced us to our waitress, Crystal. She was friendly, attentive, and very helpful in answering questions about the menu, including which dishes were gluten free and how to substitute with a gf UDI bun. My husband, gluten free, enjoyed the Red Fish (the portion was enough to fill him up) and Aunt Millies Almond Tea was unexpectedly good, while I thought the Carrot Ginger Bisque with Naan bread and Beet Caprese salad were very tasty! The soup was smooth and creamy and the riccotta cheese gave the salad that something special.
