I hadn't been to P.F. Chang's in over a year. I had fond memories of great food at a decent price with vegan and gluten-free options. However, the menu has changed for the worst. I had my go-to, the honey chicken. It honestly felt like they opened a bag from the frozen grocery store aisle of the pf changs product and cooked the daylight out of it. It was so much breading and sauce with the sogy chicken pieces literally falling apart upon contact. Chicken shouldn't be turning into jello. I paid 19 dollars for this dish alone. I feel this restaurant is just serving its frozen meals now and trying to get away with it.
I'll see PF Changs in the news declaring bankruptcy if they keep this "new recipe" up. The only saving grace was the service, besides the host trying to seat us at a booth covered in liquid and crumbs with two popped fortune cookies on the floor below. We asked to be seated elsewhere, of course. But that will be the last seat I ever take in a PF Chang's again, unfortunately. Used to love the place. They've fallen victim to a decrease in the quality of food in 2024.
On a lighter note, the food did come out extremely fast. But I guess that's what you expect at a restaurant now serving "fast food".
