It's a real shame that a restaurant offers a gluten-free option without knowing how to properly manage them.
I'm celiac and I clearly stated my allergy when ordering. I asked for a burger with a gluten-free bun, and they forgot to remove the breaded onion rings. We immediately reported the problem, but the staff simply replied, "That's the way it's on the menu," instead of finding a solution. There was no gesture, no understanding, and I had to pay for a dish I couldn't eat.
It's a shame the lack of professionalism in the face of a serious allergy.
