I have just had my third dinner here of my 3 night stay in Brescia. This restaurant and the wonderful food Emilio creates is one of the reasons I fell in love with the beautiful city of Brescia. Last year I arrived in Brescia tired and hungry and stumbled upon this restaurant. Emilio was so thoughtful on that occasion, creating a meal that was memorable and suitable for my special dietary requirements. The language barrier is never an issue. Emilio cooks from the heart and you can tell he gets so much pleasure from giving his patrons a wonderful meal. You get the impression he knows each customer on a first name basis. Tonight he created a bespoke meal for me of polenta, cheese and grilled vegetables. I think he is still coming to terms with someone who is both vegetarian AND coeliac! the food was delicious. gluten-free options are specially made and all of the pasta is also available gluten-free. overall experience was very nice.
