Walking along Southbank, you see so many restaurants that look enticing and fantastic. When we arrived at Popolo, it was buzzing. We hadn't made a reservation and were extremely lucky to have scored one of the last available tables.
Food was amazing, the wine - so delicious, and the service - impeccable!
Lemon blew my mind.
Tiramisu was perfection.
Wine sent me right back to Sicily.
I was a little tipsy, so I don't remember much of the pizza and pasta. But we smashed the arancini before taking a photo. So we probably loved it!
Next time I am in Brisbane, this will be my first stop. However, I'll be sure to make a booking first.
My coeliac husband said he would also return, get gluten-guts, and endanger his life for more Popolo.
