This restaurant is older but has longevity power for a reason. The menu is a classic pub type menu with a lot of options. I especially like the variety of gluten-free menu options and the ability to make changes to some of the entreas. For example, I ordered a spinach salad but added scallops and balsamic dressing vs. poppy seed to avoid the higher sugar count. Many restaurants offer the option to add chicken to salads, which gets boring. I appreciated the opportunity to choose something different. They also offer shrimp as an add-on to the salads. With add-ons, there is an additional expense, and my salad was over $20. It was filling and delicious. Our servers were exceptional! Bravo! Friendly, funny, kind, attentive, and engaging. I've dined here before and highly recommend both the fish and Chios and the sesame and chicken teryaki salad. So delicious!
Parking is OK. There is no designated parking lot, but there are a couple of free parking lots at the back entrance. Be forewarned. There are multiple sets of stairs to climb if you have mobility issues. In this case, parking on Main St. Wolfille may be a better choice. The decor feels classic in the Irish pub style with comfortable and private booths available as well as tables and chairs. It's one of my favorite places to dine in Wolfville.
