A good Irish pub and our server had a good understanding of the gluten free options .

Today we shared a mother’s day lunch with two special mums with the kids and their granddad. We ordered one meal from the gluten free menu (roasted pumpkin salad) and the rest was their $15 roast with a Yorkshire pudding and gravey, bangers and mash, two kids meals and a southern fried chicken burger. We washed this all down with Guinness and Great northerns. Very very tasty. The prices were reasonable, and meal sizes perfect. We noticed some off looking reside on the ground below the table and the staff apologised profusely for the small mess moved us to another table cleaned the floor and moved us back with no fuss. The manager (female didn’t catch her name) was kind, attentive and went above what I expected. The whole day of shopping and markets was topped by a wonderful meal outside bathing in another one of Far North Queensland perfect days. It so hard sometimes living up here. It’s a big tick 👍✅
