Padrino's Bistro, Italian Steakhouse & Pizzeria

We found this restaurant from the app ‘Find Me GF’ which said they had excellent gluten free pizza. I’ll leave my gluten free review for the app, however my review of the restaurant itself… I have never felt so unwelcome or out of place than I have here. It was me and my daughter (17 yo) dining and maybe it was because we asked about the gluten free options or to clarify ingredients, but they definitely made us feel like we were beneath them. Luckily I am not from this area and will never need to return. Side note… they didn’t have GF pizza and although they have bottles of wine and wine glasses throughout the restaurant and mentions ‘ask us about our wine’ on the menu, when I asked for a drink menu they told me they don’t sell alcohol.

We had dinner here for my mother-in-law's surprise retirement party. The staff was very attentive and professional and served a party of 25 with ease. I have a severe gluten intolerance and the waitress went above and beyond to make sure I had food to eat. She gave me the bruschetta mix on a plate without bread and served me gluten free pasta and gluten free chicken parmesan. We have been coming here for years and even though we live in Philadelphia, we travel to New Jersey for Padrino's delicious Italian food. My father-in-law was very happy with the event.
