Padrino's Cuban Restaurant

A very good GLUTEN FREE experience for us out-of-towners. Our waiter was sassy and fun - knowledgeable about what I could eat. Yummy, quick, right near our hotel, out-of-the-ordinary food, nice atmosphere, quite affordable. And best of all, I didn't get sick.

Food was very good. Great Cuban flavors. Unfortunately, the service was terrible and they are completely gluten unaware. Any modern restaurant today should have some staff awareness and minimal accommodations. Roast chicken has flour. Really? Service, while friendly, was bad, mostly due to lack of training or managerial oversight. No manager to be seen. First round of drinks sat at end of the bar for almost 5 minutes after they were made for a total of over 10 minutes from order to serve. Things were forgotten and not fixed until a second ask. We waited 15 minutes for our server to ask for the check until we had to ask the bartender for it. Server disappeared. They forgot to take an item off the bill that we were not served because they 86'd it. Overall, if they train and manage the staff better they can overcome the faults.
