Pain Du Jour - Gluten Free

Last week was my second time at this location. The first time I went for a snack, and I must say the croissants with pastry cream were delicious and tasty; they don't seem suitable for celiacs. The second time, I went for lunch. I ordered a meat empanada and pumpkin sorrentinos with cream. The meat empanada was a disappointment; the dough was very lumpy, the filling very dry, and the meat had some sinewy bits, which made it truly inedible. The pumpkin sorrentinos were okay, except the cream sauce was because they opened the pot of cream and poured it on top of the pasta. The service was good, although the first time the manager didn't have much of an understanding of gluten-free procedures. Overall, the experience was good, although I expected more.

I went to the restaurant on Monday at 1 p.m. for lunch. The food was amazing. I couldn't believe it was gluten-free. I live in the province, which is far from me. I think the service and table cleanliness could be a little better. When I arrived, the table was dirty, and the customer service should be more welcoming.
