Palais Hotel

Everything was really nice. Booked in advance so that we didn’t have to wait when we got there. Upon arrival got served very quickly. The venue had lots of places to sit with a nice beach theme. The service from staff was exceptional, they were very friendly and patient when accepting orders as well. The food was very tasty too. For entree we had some arancini balls and then a beetroot hummus with focaccia. The arancini balls were the best I’ve ever tasted from anywhere ever. Would recommend to everyone. The beetroot hummus was fresh and light compared to a normal hummus, perfect for a hot day. It came with focaccia, and also a gluten free option too. For main I had the Tasmanian salmon which was very delicious as well. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Crunchy skin and tender meat. This was the star of the show but the whole dish was tasty. Overall a great place to go for any meal of the day, especially in the warm summer days as you’re located right along the beach.

Gluten free fish of the day. Often pub fish and chips can be a bit disappointing but this was really well done. Fish was cooked perfectly.
