I tried gluten-free bread even though I don't need to eat gluten-free, but it was out there. The chocolate is delicious. I recommend it.

Wow. Wow wow wow! I have been gluten free for 9 years, and before that I lived in France and tried every kind of gluten pastry from every bakery in the city where I lived. So I know how excellent pastries are supposed to taste, and since I’ve gone gluten free, it’s been extremely difficult to find baked goods (aside from dense muffins and breads) that taste like the real thing. Pan Filio is among the best gluten free bakeries I’ve tried. I had the concha, the elephant ears/palmiers and the nut cookies in powdered sugar (Mexican wedding cookies?). All were stellar! The concha had a delicious brioche flavor and great texture. The palmiers were perfectly buttery and flaky, which is so hard to do with gluten free pastry. The nut cookies had the perfect snap and stellar flavor. Any gluten free person who visits CDMX must try the baked goods at Pan Filio!
