Pani in Carvoeiro is a gem. We stumbled across it while exploring the town and ended up coming back again before the trip was over. The view from the rooftop is unreal—overlooking the ocean, especially at sunset, it’s hard to beat. It’s a great spot to grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. The food was solid. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and we also tried the Goan Fish Curry—both full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The naan was great too, especially the Keema Naan. For Indian food in Portugal, it definitely hit the spot. It’s also nice that they had vegetarian and gluten-free options for people who need it. The service was friendly, and they made us feel welcome right away. Only downside is it can get busy, and the menu doesn’t clearly show some of the prices, so just something to be mindful of. Overall, it’s a really cool spot with great food and an even better view. Definitely recommend making a reservation if you want that rooftop seating—it’s worth it. Would go back for sure. A perfect combo of good vibes, tasty food, and a killer view.

Pani Restaurant in Carvoeiro is a must-visit! The rooftop dining offers breathtaking ocean views, especially at sunset. The Chicken Tikka, Goan Fish Curry, and Keema Naan were bursting with authentic Indian flavours, with great vegetarian and gluten-free options available. To top it off, we enjoyed the Prova Cega red wine—a rich, smooth Douro blend with ripe red fruit and spice notes, pairing perfectly with the bold Indian spices. Service was attentive, prices were reasonable, and the ambience was unbeatable. Just remember, reservations are recommended! Highly recommend this gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
