This spot offers a welcoming, American-themed atmosphere with a cute and characteristic ambiance. While the staff is friendly and the setting inviting, those with gluten sensitivities should exercise caution due to inconsistent handling of gluten-free options.

I ordered takeaway... first time and never again... honestly the gluten free was horrible... the staff was not qualified on gluten free products and the cashier was huffing and puffing

If I could I would give 0 stars on everything. We went to the Paninoteca da Gino at the Maximall in Pompeii and unfortunately our experience was extremely negative. The staff were downright rude, constantly huffing and puffing as we tried to choose sandwiches, as if it were a burden to serve customers. When we asked if the schnitzel contained gluten, as my mom and I have celiac disease, their behavior was confusing and unprofessional. We felt completely ignored and treated superficially. Unfortunately, after eating the sandwiches, we both had health problems, while my pregnant girlfriend actually vomited as soon as she smelled the meat coming from the takeaway bag. Evidently, gluten contamination was not handled with due care, despite our specific request. Furthermore, the prices are absolutely exaggerated: €50 for three sandwiches is an incredible amount considering the quality and service received. Not only will I never return, but I highly recommend this sandwich shop to anyone who has specific dietary needs or is looking for a decent customer experience. This visit damaged our health and made our dinner a nightmare.

I went to Gino at Maximall Pompei and had a terrible experience because I asked for gluten-free chicken Ginette and despite repeating several times during the order that the ginette had to be gluten-free, in the end they arrived but with gluten. Furthermore, the staff was not very educated about possible intolerances or allergies. So if you are celiac or intolerant, be very careful.
