Cute but expensive and they don’t have the price-quality balance quite right, but at the end of the day hot gluten smothered in hot butter and powdered sugar is a delight. However paying 21 euros for a kids pancake and a large portion of the poffertjes, given that that the batter was a little off in how it tasted not something we will be doing again. The interior hasn’t changed in 30 years which is part of the charm, but I do expect their rent has gone up which they have passed on to the customer, because making pancakes and taking them to the beach is a fraction of the costs that you end up paying here. But the kids were happy and they’re very friendly and jovial—the interior design is still from the 1990s.

We were there at lunchtime. Large selection of pancakes, poffertjes and waffles, and the dishes are also available gluten- and lactose-free. After the Milano pancake there was no more dessert left, only a small remainder of the offspring's Poffertjes was still available. The service was friendly and attentive. After dinner there was a surprise to play with as a gift for our daughter.
