Pannenkoekenhuis 't Kabouterke

We regularly went here for pancakes for years. It has now deteriorated considerably since the new owner. Went there for dinner today for the 2nd time in 3 weeks. Last time I had to wait hours for pancakes today again. Furthermore, upon arrival we were told that we could only order pancakes. After drinks were brought, we waited 1 hour for food to arrive. In the meantime, we were asked again if we could order some more drinks. This was put on the table in no time. Casis simply had to be put in a glass that previously contained cola. Didn't get new glass. Staff doesn't look very happy. Don't come and ask if everything is OK or something. While you're still waiting a long time. Pancake was delicious. When we asked for the bill, we saw that we had to pay 4 euros more for a gluten-free pancake. Not last time. It is also not mentioned anywhere or mentioned. When I said something about this, the answer was that you were lucky. Well, after years of regularly eating here, this will have been our last time. Such a pity. The whole friendly, calm, homely atmosphere has really disappeared. Several guests complained, but nothing was done about this either.

Great that we are back in Zeeland, we can eat such a fantastic pancake again. We are gluten-free and nowhere do they taste better than at our Kabouterke in Kloosterzande and we have tasted many pancakes throughout the country, but this cozy pancake house with very friendly and committed staff stands head and shoulders above the rest!
