The food was filling, but so is a dry sandwich. My pancake was a bite of dough with poorly spread toppings. The toppings were tasty though. The carpaccio was far from a traditional carpaccio, but nevertheless very tasty. Highlight of the evening. However, the dessert was THE downside. One of my friends has a gluten allergy. He asked an employee what desserts were gluten-free. According to her, nothing was gluten-free, after which she made the comment: "gluten is milk, right?". Which is really not possible for someone who works in the catering industry. It seems logical to me that someone in the catering industry knows the difference between gluten and lactose allergy. She then goes to the kitchen to ask what kind of gluten-free desserts they have and comes back saying that only the sorbet is gluten-free. So that's just ordered. Afterwards I asked a manager what happened and it turned out that a large part of the desserts could be made gluten-free. The manager then has a conversation with us where she acts quite condescending and does not offer any apologies. Presumably due to the fact that we are eighteen. Avoid this place if you have a gluten allergy. Otherwise you can just about get by
